Vouchers dropped from some orders during confirmation

We saw degraded customer experiences on a small percentage of orders processed yesterday between 11:00am 13th June NZST (23:00 12th June UTC) and 1:30pm 14th June NZST (01:30 14th June UTC). During the impacted period, a bug was removing voucher codes during the payment step on a small fraction of orders, significantly degrading user experience for the impacted orders and causing order totals to be larger than expected.

All receipts, reports, and payments reflect actual charges. Note that orders without a voucher, or which had been discounted by 100%, or which were paid on pickup/delivery were unaffected. Overall this issue impacted a tiny fraction of daily order volume for our clients, however the individual impact on affected customers may have been significant, so we are treating this matter as serious. We are taking strong steps to ensure that this issue is not repeated.
